They devise a complicated scheme to take Lonnegan for an enormous sum of money and amass a talented group of other con artists to help sting Lonnegan and even the score.  In this, writer-director George Lucas' original Star Wars film, the Imperial Forces, under orders from Darth Vader, hold Princess Leia hostage in their efforts to quell the rebellion against the Galactic Empire. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo work together with the droid duo R2-D2 and C-3PO to rescue the princess, help the Rebel Alliance, and restore freedom and justice to the galaxy. The main characters are memorably portrayed by Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guiness, Peter Mayhew, and David Prowse.

Future Classic Movie:  6:00 pm, May 13, 2020 -- "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" -- Presented by Ron Roberts

Movie Graphic

The Monty Python crew, including Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin, turn history on its comic head when, in 10th century England, King Arthur travels the countryside to find knights who will join him at the Round Table in Camelot. After a bit of a party at Camelot, they set forth on a surreal, low-budget search for the Holy Grail, encountering many very silly obstacles along the way.

Future Classic Movie:  6:00 pm, June 10, 2020 -- "Charade" -- Presented by Bert Garcia

Movie Graphic

Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Walter Matthau star in this Stanley Donen film. A valuable stash of stolen gold is buried in a plot to recover it years later. But members of the group turn on each other and set about trying to recover the loot for themselves. This is a who-can-you-trust situation right to the end. Scored with lush and suspenseful themes by Henry Mancini, this is a classic suspense film with comedy and romance to break the tension.
