In this Alfred Hitchcock classic, Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) embezzles forty thousand dollars from her employer's client, goes on the run, and because of a rain storm, checks into a remote motel run by Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins). But Norman Bates' sanity leaves something to be desired. The shower scene set a new and very high standard in horror movies.

At Fort Apache, an honorable and veteran war captain, Kirby York (John Wayne) finds conflict when his regime is placed under the command of young, glory-hungry Lieutenant Colonel Thursday (Henry Fonda) who has no respect for the local Indian tribe. Colonel Thursday's refusal to listen to the advice of local experts is a recipe for disaster. This is the first film of director John Ford's cavalry trilogy. Shirley Temple turns in a fine performance as Philadelphia Thursday.
